Save The Trails Benefit

This is our chance to make a difference. We all enjoy our freedoms and our beautiful National Forests. Unfortunately our National Forests Service is in the process of taking our rights and freedoms away from ALL of us. We are asking for everyone to help us in this battle to save our ATV trail systems and our hunters rights. With your help and the help of others, we can stop this un-American take over of another of our American liberties.

There is a way you can make a difference, help, and have fun at the same time.

Please come and join us in this “Save The Trails Benefit” to help raise funds for the legal battle ahead.

The Benefit will be held on the weekend of March 12-14, 2010. There will be a poker run, picture treasure hunt, an Auction with very unique and one of a kind items to auction, trail rides, Fishing tournament for the kids, food, music and fellowship. The benefit activities will take place at several of campgrounds in the area. Registration for these events will begin Fri March 12 at Coyote Canyon Campground and continue through the weekend.

Lets all UNITE to save our rights and our local economy.

This event is supported by our local community members, businesses and sponsored by our local ATV Clubs “Ouachita ATV Club” and “The Arkansas Trail Blazers” .

Update on the Save The Trails Benefit. This list is growing every day. Items that have been donated for our cause.

Gloria, Don & Mary are donating 400 lbs. of boneless chicken, 20 dozen eggs. Mark is donating chili, Vicky from Sub Way is donating cheese and onions for the chili, Chopping block is donating all the crackers for the chili, Sean and the crew from the hospital will be cooking our chicken, Melissa is donating ice, bowls, silverware, cups, BBQ sauce, Lemonade, tea, drink coolers & napkins. Ed is donating 2 ricks of firewood.

Items that are being donated for auctions, door prizes, event prizes & raffles.Southern auto donated 12 tire repair kits, ATV spot light, Pkg. of bungees, 12 volt tire inflator, set of ratchet straps. Small World donated 1 Arkansas Razorback T shirt, 7 multi colored caps & 10 camo caps. Glen donated a 4,000 lb ATV winch. Gloria donated 2 items for the treasure hunt, a signature Razorback football. Gloria and Cathy are donating a hand made ATV quilt and 12 caps. ABC block donated a portable cooker. Joyce is donating a hand made quilt. Jeff is donating 2 Garman hand held GPS units, 2 1 gallon ATV fuel cells. Jimmy is donating 2 metal cup holders for an ATV. Mena Tire is donating 2 ATV tires. Malena is donating 4 signature NASCAR helmets. Coyote Canyon Campground is donating 2 nights in a cabin limit 2 people and 2 nights RV site. Melissa is donating an ATV rack pack. Scott is donating a guitar. Handy Hardware donated multi tool, 2 sets of ratchet straps, a girls pocket knife and a Skill 24 piece drill & drive tool set. A&B Tire is donating 3 – 25.00 gift certificates. Papa Pablanos restaurant is donating 2 – 15.00 gift certificates. Camp Wolf Creek Springs is donating 1 night in a cabin and 1 night RV site. Jim is donating 1 night in the ATV Trail House. Chad is donating a “Snap On” screw driver set.

Pam is running the Picture Treasure Hunt event. Jeff is running the Poker Run event. Bill is running the mud drag. Tim is doing the auctions.  Scott is doing the music. If I am leaving anything out please let me know.

We still need deserts, coffee, creamer and sugar.
